The in Harkány
was built as a site of the CASTRUM chain of camsites in 1991. It is situated
in a picturesque and quiet scenery about 5 km from the Croatian border. The numbered pitches are furnished with electric,
water, sewer and TV hook-ups. The well-planned washing and toilet facilities
are heated by an underfloor heating system in winter. There is a restaurant and a food shop for
the convenience of the guests of the camping site. Harkány, the most famous spa in the
south of Hungary, lies 26 km from Pécs, the county town of Baranya
county, which boasts beautiful monuments and universities. Harkány's treasure, the renowned spa
and swimming pools, are ideal for recreation, while the world-famous hospital
and the very effective thermal water, which is regarded as the best medicinal
water in the south of Hungary, offer great opportunities for cures. The campsite, which has a Mediterranean climate,
also has beatiful cold water swimming pools suitable also for sports swimming,
which guarantees a great summer holiday.

valleys and small lakes of the Mecsek Mountains will leave wonderful memories.
